Spacebugs

Spacebugs is an action/real-time-strategy type of game. The player controls a massive fleet of spaceships, both capital size and fighter size, travels through space and encounters enemy fleets.

The current prototype is a demo of possible game mechanics and rudimentary UI. It is part of the geeny package and can be downloaded from there.

The focus of the game, once finished, will be on fleet building and maintenance, and much less, if at all, on planet colonisation and diplomacy. Possible backgrounds are trade and exploration, similar to Elite and its successors.
