====== Legends of the Land (1989) ====== After starting high school in 1988, I focused on my first 'serious' coding project, which was done entirely in z80 assembly language. "Legends of the Land" was a non-linear role playing game with strategy elements, which was heavily inspired by games like "Lords of Midnight" and "Sorderon's Shadow". {{charon:past:lotl10.png }} {{ charon:past:lotl1.png }} {{charon:past:lotl12.png }} {{ charon:past:lotl13.png }} The game was never published, but in 1993, I released it as freeware along with my earlier games. Later on, it somehow migrated to internet and you can now download it, along with the somewhat sparse instructions, from here: [[http://www.worldofspectrum.org/infoseekid.cgi?id=0002854|World of Spectrum]] {{charon:past:lotl4.png }} {{ charon:past:lotl7.png }} {{charon:past:lotl8.png }} {{ charon:past:lotl9.png }} ======Links====== [[http://retrospec.sgn.net/users/tomcat/yu/ZX/MiscGames/Html/LegendsOfTheLand.php|Ex-Yu Racunalniska Scena]] ====== Remake ====== There is a remake on the way but as I see it as a fairly complex game, it's still light years from completion. {{charon:past:nlotl1.png}} {{charon:past:nlotl2.png}} {{charon:past:nlotl4.png}} {{charon:past:nlotl5.png}} ---- [[charon:past:cutwithit|Next: CutWithIt!
